Perpetual Chronograph query
I have been looking perpetual calendars to complement my collection. I have looked carefully at the 5140 in all metals. I like the watch very much. However, in the last week or so the 3970 has caught my attention. My AD has 3 of them in stock which I assume he has taken in on trade. I like the balance of the dial very much. The pushers have a nice “retro” look to them. It seems like there is a lot of value in this piece right now compared to the 5970 and 5270 perpetual calendars. I really like the look and balance of the dial.
What are people’s opinions on this piece in terms of aesthetics and quality of the movement? I think the value is there.
Thanks
