Hi Today i got this from a probate, it has belonged to an old man. It is cal. 26,5 T3 PC, the movment number is 8916185 and a case number 9714161, so i guess it is from the early 40'ties. It is 30mm without the crown. The dial looks as new and so does the...  

Hi Thomas. I have some in my possession but none of them has that screw (on the balance cock) like your. Can you adjust it from Fast to Slow and vice versa, may I ask ? Regards.

The adjusting pin is going over the screw whitout problems. You are right i cant find any variant of the 26,5 with this screw. I dont think i looks homemade but what is it then???? Best Thomas...  

Interesting. The calibre designation of 26,5 T3 PC certainly indicate shock protection (PC=shock protected). However the jewel setting on the balance cock looks quite like the non-shock protected settings Omega used at the time. SuitbertW, do you have any...

This kind of shock protection I have never seen before. It must have been for a very short run - I have seen quite some 26,5 T3 but none with a shock absorber. regards Erich

I was wondering if i should mail to Omega or Dr. Ranfft and ask them what it is. Is it possible too ask Omega about this, or is the only way an extract from the archives? If i can contact them what is the way, i can not find an email adress for the Museum...
