thats exactly what i'm looking for from 1964 if
i can find one. i agree with you that its good to have bracelet AND leather so
you can change about at will. all you really need is a buckle and buy a nice
aftermarket strap which is what i do. no point paying top dollar for an OEM
strap and the cheap Omega straps are rubbish.
one thing i find interesting about these is the
dagger hands. having looked at Gingers and others seamasters including my own
sm30 i've come to the conclusion that the hour and minute hands on the
seamasters are longer than those on the constellations. at first i thought mine
were too long, a subject bought up by Art, but having seen other examples since
i think my conclusion may be correct. different lengths for different
models.
i also notice your second hand is short, but
because of the piepan minute track the right length if you understand me. my
second hand is the same length as yours, but my minute track is at the outer
edge of the dial so its possible that mine was intended for a
piepan.
the more we know the less we know.
