Hi! This Omega Officer has just arrived. It has a fantastic copper patina. Normally there are two Officer models, CK 2299 and CK 2165. CK 2165=from 1940 and 26,5 T2. CK 2299=from 1942 and 26,5 T3. BUT this one has stampes 797 on the case back and on one o...  

Hi Thomas, It is an easy explanation: the 3 digit number on inside case back and on the lug are from the case maker. So the matching parts "stay together" in the production and delivery process. It is not a serial number, your serial# is the 10 million...... 

So i guess it is a CK 2299 and 26,5 T3 or ? I wondered if 797 was a Ref. number, like 2299. Best Thomas
