No lines, no waitlist, and most models are freely available at the boutiques. Did the initial marketing & subsequent shortage create the excessive demand or was it a case of herd mentality? Same watch, same price but no takers now? Will this also happ...  

the same all over the world. I happen to have one, and am enjoying it regularly to the fullest extent . I might even get another one later this year....

I've seen them on many people even in business meetings with people who I know have large collections, which means it still remains a reasonably affordable way of having fun.

Many are people that have great collections built up over years but enjoy the MoonSwatch with passion. Unfortunately some people can’t enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Stupidity at its best. I guess they thought they could replicate the long lasting Swatch quest for years, but a golden hand is likely not enough to sustain this business model. Today everything is faster than 20 years ago. I don't know if the online purch...

Availability, last time I asked, was still somewhat limited in the US. Always some in stock, but not the entire line up. Personally I own one, and in theory would own another. I own multiple Swatch watches and so why not multiple MoonSwatch? From my consu... 

I’m very disappointed that Omega went down this road. The fact that they’re even writing reviews comparing moonswatch to the original is disheartening. Rolex would never do something like this. Moonswatch attaches a silly cuteness to a timepiece that went... 

…”The only folks likely to care are us, collectors”. Which I think is where you are coming from and I do understand it from that perspective as unlike the average buyer your motivation for buying is different.

In both situations, at the end of the day you realize have a cheap toy.
