Omega

My first OMEGA

I have hesitated for a long time about which Omega I should add to my collection.

A Speedmaster seemed like the most logical option, but  I have never been able to decide which.

Caliber 321 is always tempting, but then again vintages are not truly my thing (I suffer too much).

And I have missed a couple of occasions to buy a well-priced double sapphire caliber 1863...

So when I saw this...I could not resist and I jumped on it. So I bought TWO Omegas, instead of one...

Oh, yes, it is an Omega!

Look closer...

I know white and pink gold do not match too well, but I was in a rush this morning and I was happy just to take a few shots. No time for choosing a different watch.

The Lange 1815, in any case, never looks too bad in any company smile

However, these Omegas have proven to be more delicate than I thought, and I have already lost the thingy that regulates the pace of the watch (technical assistance required here, please...what is the name of that lever?)

Here you may see the other Omega without the little lever:

Actually the one that remains has today made to attempts to leave me...I plugged it back again with my finger, but I do not expect it to be with me much longer. In any case, the movement looks pretty even without it.

I am enjoying more and more wearing watch-movement cufflinks. I can only wear one watch (well, I could wear two, but it would look odd), but this way I get to enjoy three at the same time!

The funny thing is that I ended up going vintage, despite my reluctance...

HAGWE, my friends wink
