I have wanted a Constellation of steel, fore some time. W anted a Pie Pan, but this showed up instead. It is also steel, with characteristic horns and with 36 mm slightly larger than normal Constellations and with hidden crown. Omega Constellation Calende...

I had a similar one until last year when I let it go - though I've still got my 18kt 168.5004 which is one of the most favoured in my collection - the design is so neat and subtle that it is difficult to improve IMHO. Perhaps the 167.005 dogleg case with ...

With the 168.004, Omega has come up with a new design that focused on the dial only. The lugs were made very small and the crown was hidden in the case. The dial was made much larger than older models and looks big on your wrist. The only problem that I h...  

...it did occur to me that the hidden crown would be tough to set. I have an older Seiko diver (6139-7100) with a recessed crown that also is not the easiest to turn....  

as i have one myself. only thing with mine is that the crown sticks out a bit so is probably the incorrect one. no ones ever mentioned it being an incorrect crown so its possible it is right, but is just a different style. nice watches which suit a beads ...
