There are many things that are beyond my comprehension...
... and to that long list you can add the following:
Why on earth would Omega sponsor "a project whose ambitious aim is to circle the globe in an airplane powered only by solar energy" with a watch that's powered by a battery?!? I'm pretty sure the technology exists for a solar powered watch

. . . would be higher if they had opted for solar, Kamy. That they didn't is an indication that sensibility outweighs marketing at Omega.
