Indeed, it gives some warmth and a nice vintage touch.

I'd be curious, if you will indulge me, if you've seen both this and the white dialed version in person...

What is your personal opinion about the two and your preference?

I'd say the White, because the sunray blue dial of the FOIS bugs me a bit. Even if it is a very nice watch, that's for sure!

Really?? What about the blue dial bugs you? I'm surprised to hear that, honestly, as it is fairly subtle.

Thank you.

Sunray blue, which is weird with these warm indices... In matte black, it would have been a killer for me, but I have to say that I am deeply in love with vintage straight lugs Speedies.

I mean I would not be bugged if the indices were not retro while the dial is so modern. It is the combination of the two which let me perplex. But it is just me.

Thank you for your thoughts - I really do appreciate them. I am surprised you find the dial very modern (thought I have not seen it in person)
By: BigFatPauli : December 19th, 2024-19:13
as it was inspired by vintage Speedy's. The blue dial on a Speedy is an old idea.

Sunray blue... Quite modern, for a classic Speedie...
