Vintage SM 300 Octopus
Hi all, I managed to find a NOS 19mm Tropic strap to fit my SM 300 to give it a true authentic spirit. I played with my strap combos and created this SM 300 Octopus so I took some pictures to share with you. I hope you enjoy, thanks for looking. Matt...

In my opinion, one of the 2 best straps for this watch, Matt.

I agree with you. Actually it is incredible how much this watch can take different personnalities depending on how you strap it up, and they all look good! By the way I added the 2 missing legs to the Octopus. Matt

out of the 4 you've shown i'd stick with the stingray. it gives a classic vintage piece a funky edge, a whole new personality. if i didnt have the original mesh bracelet for mine i'd be experimenting my butt off, but 19mm is awkward. its either 18mm sligh...

variety is nice, the ones I am missing are the bracelet but I am not a big fan of bracelts in general, and te leather Nato for this one, but 4 options is more than enough! Matt

Hi Matt As opposed to you I prefer the Omega steel linked bracelet like a 7912 or a 1035 ... Either way its a classic watch that can be worn with just about any strap that can fit the case. Good Hunting Bill Sohne
