Thanks, need help with strap ideas!

 

Thanks Bill. Its running very well after a couple of days teething problems. It started by gaining 3-4 mins an hour but after a couple of days it settled down, and after spending a day next to my radio controlled alarm clock, it had lost only 2 seconds in 24 hours...not sure what happened, but I'm very happy with it.

Rgarding the issue of "Le Strap", I'm not sure. It's currently got a horrible strap left from the guy that sold it to me, but I don't know where I could get a strap like yours for it? Obviously would have to be in black I think though.

Hi Welcome to the forum and GREAT early Omega from the 1915-1918. What you have is an early attempt to hermetically sealed case. Having the movement mount on a swing ring and the movement is "front loaded" into the case. Also notice how the crown tube is ...
