Hi Edward, the dial does not look like SS to me - from what I can see in your pictures I assume it might be a solid silver dial with the numbers and the minute track executed in black hard enamel - as often used in those early days.  Usually first  the nu... 

Give me a few days And I'll have the dial pics for your scrutiny. I live in an industrial belt, where silver turns black very fast. The dial should start fading in a week or so, if it's silver. Cheers Edward
