Yes, the Seamaster 300 is an elusive beast....

I found this one not too long ago-it was offered as "parts only" as the crown didn't turn (screwed down crown!) so a simple service, and it was perfect!

Hard for me to find the "big triangle/date" model, as I do prefer the date on this watch as a daily wearer.

Love those old Omegas!

Chris

Hi guys, This is a watch I've been looking for for a LONG time! I started with vintage Omega with a fake Omega 300, probably a Vietnam fake, before I knew anything about vintage. Luckily, I got my money back, as the seller didn't know either. At that poin...

What a journey, Chris!

Wow! It seems that you deserved to find this 14 755, after all your efforts and first steps in the watch world. We are many here to be big fans of the CK 2913 / 14 755 Seamaster 300. Its thin bezel, and the minute arrow hand are to die for, asell as the v...

Nice SM

Hi and welcome here One of my favorites. I am awaiting my first CK2913 in tomorrow. I actually just recently purchased a Rolec 5513 that showed out to be a frankenwatch :-( but I got the money back and purchased this 2913 Cheers Hans

Thanks

Thank you for the responses, gentlemen, and the kind welcome. It's always a disappointment to find that a watch isn't what you thought it was. Either fake, or put together! I have no problem with "watchco" watches, as long as they are not misrepresented, ...

the hunt is what keeps us going Chris and it worked for you

we have many fans of the SM300 here who appreciate everything you've gone through. the world of the sm300 is a minefield of fakes and frankenwatches, probably more than any other Omega ever made. i've found that the thin bezel models are less faked than t...

Congrats, Chris!

The SM 300 is one I have been looking at for a long time now… The strong looks really appeals to me. Soon I hope to be able to jump in to the endless abyss of Omega… Again, congrats and give her a good life! Best Blomman

Lovely Chris!

I'm at the same point with a 165.014 and a CK2913: watch is where I want them to be, save for the bezel restoration. I need to get going on that!

Thanks!

Hi Chris The early Seamaster 3oos are classics in my book. I remember buying my 2913.... I just moved to DC area about 25 years ago. I went to the Georgetown flea market looking for some furniture. I stopped buying all collectibles when my home was burgla...

Bill, Not sure if you remember, but I actually bought a Tudor sub from you-still have it, and still love it! Your post about the vintage Omega 300-series is what truly sparked my interest in those watches. I loved the story about finding yours, and always...
