Got the Apollo 11, on the list for the Snoopy. We have typically purchased watches to commemorate things. Anniversary, 50th bday, 55th bday, etc.. This one commemorates the pandemic. I have been chasing the basic Moonwatch for most of my life. The most recent iterations just didn’t look right to me. Even the Apollo 11, 50th is non traditional, great timepiece. This one looks asthetically perfect to me. The offset, sunken sub dials and outer rim give very nice three dimensionality. The stainless band reminds me a little of my Rolex president, but is more beautiful for some reason. As we say in science, this is a very elegant version of the Moonwatch. It is still wrapped in these pics as I picked this one up at the astoundingly wonderful Omega Boutique on Oahu, where the very knowledgeable ladies indulged my Omega curiosity. I plan on giving it to my son this year for his graduation from engineering program. He is working on computers for ISS and Artemis. Hopefully this will motivate him to stay engaged with his work for a few years!! I chose the Hesalite for the tradition and the inscription on the back. Pictures or descriptions do not do it justice. Thank you Omega for this elegant design.

You are not alone into the Omega vibe. When i’ve got my seamaster, it surprised me how good it is. Taste to other models is big and that Snoopy, is just mind blowing perfect. The NTTD Bond seamaster is another Omega i wish.
