I really appreciate you putting this summary together. I am a ‘facts man’ and it's great to have all this information available. The summary of the different optical polymers and co-polymers was very interesting as was the manufacturing processes.
I am pleased I chose a Speedmaster with a PMMA lens as I enjoy the shape, feel and authenticity of the ‘hesalite’. Sure, you have to look after them a little more than synthetic sapphire, but that’s not too difficult and after having a sapphire crystal shatter on me, I appreciate even more the properties of PMMA.
