omegaforums will be a good place to start

I don't know too much about the fine details of this watch either. I know it is powered by the cal. 1012 movement. Another member of the forum here told me that this series of movements were designed in collaboration with lemania, but they were manufactured by omega. They are not considered to be omega's finest work by most collectors, and some variants have design issues. Still, the 1012 is a perfectly capable movement.

I also know that this watch is one of the 'geneve' model line, which I believe was below the deville models in terms of pricing.
This omegaforums thread had a helpful picture of a catalog, which reveals the reference number of this model to be 8873. It also apparently cost 425 swiss francs back in 1976. Pretty neat. If you want more information, omegaforums is definitely a good place to look.

My Omega Geneve 'TV Dial' is back from the local watchmaker. The only part that needed replacement was the balance staff. It's running at 275 degrees and +5 seconds dial up. Not bad. Of course real world performance won't be anywhere near that, but perfor...

Could u share more info about this watch? Such as the movement (in house or ETA) or the exact model name and number? I am asking because my father has the same one. My mother found it in the corner of her drawer in 2016 and gave it to me. I got serviced a...

I'm not sure 1976 was the first year of this model. It was definitely sold in 1976 (hence its appearance in the catalogue from that year), but it may have been around before then. Either way, it is definitely a product of the 70s in every sense.
