Hi all,
Just a line to share some pictures of the 145.019 Soccer Timer...or as it should properly be referred to, the Football Timer.
Yes, it's a Seamaster, but the design has been intelligently conceived to be used as a measurement tool for football matches. If my understanding of the mechanics of a match is correct, the sub-register's colour combination helps the reader time a 1/2 match=45m. The inner bezel I have yet to properly investigate and, with the brain power it's taking me to take an interest in football, it will have to be for another post.
In any case, the Football Timer has a manual caliber 861 and dates form the early 70s.
It's the only football related item I own, and i'd happily add another! To all the hooligans out there, i highly recommend it!
