I would be grateful if members can chime in on how to tell the difference in quality in grand feu enamel dials. For example the Seiko Presage has an enamel dial and so does the UN San Marco’s of old or Jaquet Droz.
Surely it cannot be just be the identity of the artist like Anita Porchet or Susanne Rohr.
How does one rate each grand feu enamel dial. In movement finishing one looks at the anglage and polishing etc.
Is there a similar criteria to identify in grand feu enamel dials?

If you look at the Seiko Presage enamel dials, there is a tremendous amount of discoloration and surface defect visible anywhere hands, date, or a complication indicator places a hole in the dial. Second, cheap enamel can be executed on copper or silver, ...

This model is on the larger size, if I recall correctly. Is that right? I imagine it has a nice heft on the wrist.
Yes, this is a size 44 mm but slimmish.
Unless I’m much mistaken it is under 12 mm in height. 11 point something. Easy to wear but one of my larger watches
