Hi all, Remembering how Art struck luck at a Pawn shop. I also made it a point to step into all the Pawn shops which came on my way, on my recent trip to the US. And guess what? Like many I got lucky too...very lucky. From a pawn shop somewhere in Florida...

Yes an SS version also came to me a few months back. I remember it was in as good if not better condition. Price did't work out. Too bad for me. But I'm very very happy with this one all the more after Bill pointed out that the adjusted version is more de... 

..pawnshops, but it usually takes serious negotiating to get them down to being a good deal. That being said, there are some deals for those who persevere. This one was an excellent find if it was a bargain.

Saw few watches at the LA pawn shops. They were pricey IMHO. Whereas this one I got it from a small city in FL. And yes IMHO I believe it was a bargain. The seller's asking was 2.5 G. Cheers Ed

Hi Ed You missed one of the best parts !! What you did not mention and maybe did not realize that 321 is marked ADJUSTED to TWO positions... which was specific to the late 50 and early 60s Seamaster chronographs .... The Speedys at the time where marked u... 

Cal. 321 movements marked adjusted 2 positions - perhaps coming from the same era as the corresponding seamasters (~1962)

To read your feed back. The 'BUT' in your header got me. I was trying hard to think what could be wrong this time....:: ))) I realised the adjusted 2 position. But did't know they were that significant. Thank you bill. It takes a lot for a watch to be in ...

my ss model is also adjusted 2 positions. i havent figured out why speedy's are unadjusted, but seamasters are often adjusted to 2 positions. it may be something to do with it being dressier. enjoy it and wear it often best Graham
