This is a NASA Space Pen which astronauts bring it to Space, of course and is able to write on many different surfaces, conditions like vacuum, water etc...never tried it.
Someday when regular Joes can visit space, I’ll test it 😂

Space pen
Really cool pens. I gave a nephew for his birthday a space pen. We tested it on wet paper, and it works! It was a Nasa certified pen, but not with a Nasa or Omega logo on it.

Clueless, it is a Fisher pen. It was a long time ago, 4 years or something i gave the present.

The pen is definitely worth as collectable.
But no really ideal to use in outer space, just use the cosmonauts method to use good old pencil will solve all writing problem or use as touchpad stylus.
Nice to know...I stash them in the attic
So my next generations can find it NOS and bring to suction house, lol....Hopefully it works in next 50th years. Pencil works but info on paper may not last so I think electronic pads will be better.
I normally only use fountain pens Raymond but I do carry around this Omega space pen for the times I need to use a ball point...
I will say that it does write in pretty much anything I have ever tried to write on without a hitch. 👍

I almost never carry pens nowadays but with this covid thing going on, better bring my own pens now 👍🏻
