what i find most amazing about these watches is their durability. never designed for anything other than normal earthly timing, but literally bomb proof as sadly Ed White's watch proved after the Apollo I disaster. 3 men dead, internals of command module incinerated, watch looking pretty sickly, but still working. very very sad, but amazing also.
the name is iconic and synonymous with quality chronography so its no wonder that the Speedmaster roll call of last year is one of the biggest ever on the forum.
