Large and rare.

Oct 26, 2011,14:06 PM

Hi friends.

After one month of communicating, bidding, translating (from Japanese into English) paying and waiting, I receive this rare bird today. It's the one on the cover page that Desmond has written about the Constellaton 168.001,

Yes, it's that exact watch in that picture.

 Now here are the pics

You can see the ring outside of the movement to support the large dial.

anh the 14K Medallion on the back.

The case is still very sharp, there is no sign of being polished.

and the only problem I have right now is to find a pair of 19mm end links for that bead of rice bracelet.

If you know where to find, please let me know.

  Best regards.

  Cheers.

   Hoi.

ps.. this is the pic from the seller in Japan

Huge Congrats Hoi. Although dauphine hands are my favourite, but a baton hands would better suit the markers in this dial. Just my 2 cents. Ed

Lovely watch.

Thank you everybody. It's been on my wrist from yesterday and I love it, I also like to thank Desmond for his special essay about this constellation model, without his knowledge, I would not have known there were 168.001's from Japan to collect. Best. Hoi

very nice Hoi

Hi Graham. I always remember that you need one and haven't seen anything coming up yet.. The dial of 168.001 is a bit larger than the hidden crowns and has a supporting ring. BTW, here are my twins of 004 Best...

Hi Desmond. I feel lucky you did not take it and looks like you know all the corners of the world. Hi Mike. You may already know about Yahoo Japan, that's the market you can find these jumbos. Best.
