If you have a set

Of high quality watchmakers screwdrivers, use a size 200 to remove the screws on each side above and below the link(s) you intend to remove. Do this in a contained area to avoid losing the tiny screws. Next, use a much smaller screwdriver, perhaps a size 60, to drive out the linking pins. Remove the extra bracelet links. To reattach the bracelet, first replace the cap screw on one side. Insert the link pin through the bracelet links to join them. Then replace the cap screw on the other side. A pair of small tweezers helps to hold the screw while you're starting it. I can attach pictures if it would be helpful.
Congratulations on picking up one of the best watches of the last few years!

is probably to go to an Omega AD if there is one close enough to you, if not another reputable watch dealer would probably be willing to help you, may charge you a small fee, may not.

Best option for me is clearly to take it to a professional jeweler. I don’t want to mess it up trying to do it myself. I thought there was an easy way to do it. In the meantime, I have put the leather strap on it so I can wear it. I would say this wears a...

I bought mine pretty much when they first became available at ADs and I never get tired of looking at it. Enjoy!

Black strap looks fine. I have ordered a brown leather strap, and will hopefully get the bracelet sized today. I love the subtle detail of the etched Omega logo in the center of the crystal(second pic). I am not sure when I would have noticed it had I not...
