I had one when I was a kid. It was the coolest thing for gadget freaks at the time (less so for real pilots I think). I see a lot of them for sale and the value seems to depend on condition and originality. The few that were made in gold are highly desirable.

But I find it to be one of the truly appealing Omegas - a view shared by Petros Protopapas (the Director of Omega Heritage) Personally I would say buy it if you like it - as for investment potential I truly do not know.

I don't know how many were made, but they show up very frequently. My opinion: Had two or three and let go. They are amazing in pictures but on the wrist, they "dance" a lot and the case shape don't help. Cheers, Nilo
