Ok guys, yesterday somebody from the Czech Republic/US started this auction .... and one of you convinced him to end it early, right? Omega Chronometre ref 2254, approx 1939. The first chronometer wristwatch of the 30T2 series, arched script over the Omeg...  

to see a price jump and then sudden termination. By the way: no PC shock absorbing system and for the rest in a 'bit of state'. Interesting enough however as a restoration project. Ben.

Hi fellas, This is what I have bought recently: a SS ref 2366,  all original except the winding crown. Dial is aged with some scratches and oxidation "shadows" - or maybe some dirt too?? Maybe some of them may clean up - will have a careful try... I liked...  

.. than yellow indices in combination with this case. Would be nice to see them in a cleaner state, are you tackling such a job yourself Erich or do you give it into the hands of professionals? best, Ben.

Hi Ben, it depends on the dial - sometimes I have a try myself - first with little water, and sometimes I am able to remove some of the "dirt" and discoloration this way.  If it is more complicated I do not dare anything and leave it to a professiona...
