A super skilled watchmaker I know who also owns an Hour Vision tells me not to worry about it, saying that it won't cause damage or extra wear because those "clicks" are not
mechanical but magnetic. I've never had reason to doubt him so I believe him yet I can't bring myself to spin that hour hand around endlessly to get to the correct date. There's
a time factor and in spite of him explaining that I still don't feel comfortable doing it excessively. Also both my Hour Vision and AT had to be sent in for replacement of some related parts close to simultaneously!
