A simple watch, but what do you expect for a dollar?

Being an avid collector in many fields for over three decades, I go to estate sales, auctions, flea markets all the time. Picked this up this weekend at an estate sale. Small, 14K gold-filled. The timegrapher shows it's running almost half a minute slow in most positions, but it looks barely worn. I'll dig through my stock and find a nice band.
I've had a few Omegas over the decades but not many, and all vintage so I'm not very familiar with the brand. Marked on the back 14K G.F. B&A. Although obviously the case maker, does anyone know who B&A was? And how about an approximate year? Haven't opened it yet since I can't find my trusty blade but I'll find it when I get a chance.
It's very different from most of my watches but I find it somehow enjoyable to wear.
