Vintage Omega Bracelet Mystery......

Dec 23, 2012,12:06 PM

Bill posted pics of a very cool vintage Tissot recently that had an interesting bracelet. He recalled that I own a similar one on a vintage Seamaster, and has asked for more pics of mine. After several months, I am finally getting around to itsmile.
My opinion:
1) It looks great on my Seamaster smile
2) The clasp/buckle is legit Omega
3) Could be original, and produced when Omega was closely associated with Tissot
4) Most likely explanation is former owner trashed the original bracelet, and just put this one on the Omega buckle. BUT, this seems to be a lot of trouble for a relatively cheap bracelet (at least at the time)

Any thoughts from the experts?
