Strange symbol on caseback
I have just purchased a Seamaster Planet Ocean and found a strange symbol on the caseback.
It is laser etched and about 3 mm in diameter. It looks like a globe with a few Omega-logos in it.
I have only seen this on a few new watches.
Can anyone tell me what it is and why it is there?

Caseback
I believe you're referring to an engraving that Omega has started to put on some of its solid steel casebacks on its models. I believe it's done to deter counterfeiting and trafficing in fake Omegas. Regards DB Darien
