Omega

JLC from 2014 vs Omega 2024. One decade separates them. Pardon my personal photo ability. The JLC has an eggshell texture white dial, truly white despite my pic & 38.5mm. The Omega pic is from FratelloWatches and 42mm. Which do you prefer? ...  

I have always loved the Geophysic, but the Omega with the strap is so crisp and graphic …

Really depends what else is in your collection in those two categories, if anything. I'd probably go Geo, I'm more attracted to the toolish history of the speedy so it'd have to be black/plexi for me.

Although they are two different watches for two different occasions, the JLC is far and away the more refined choice.

I used to love omega. But the brand has really cheapened itself with all the swatch collaborations.

Love the 1958 Tribute. But I might get one of those white speedy's with the 3861 down the line . until then... ...

The remake is well done.

I just handled one yesterday while visiting a vintage dealer friend. It’s a big and hefty watch, which somewhat surprised me. That said it’s well proportioned.
