Dear Forum, Recently acquired this weird looking 601 - 135.041 with engraving of A/1815 on the back case Have no idea if its a fake or genuine dial, please help Much appreciated ...

Hi, relying to the Omega website this Ref should be OK with cal. 601 - the dial might be legit - I do not know why you doubt? What does concern you? regards erich

a lot are for sale in far east and i'm never sure if they are redialled so i avoid them, but this looks ok to me. G

..another thing is some years dont really match to logic as arent these 601s supposed to be of 60s to 70s production? so why the military dial? vietnam war or korean? well i'm an amateur so excuse my plenty of questionings...

. . . as I've never seen this dial before, but for what it's worth (and it ain't much), my sense is it's a refinished dial. The script looks right to my eyes, as do the tracks and markers, and the hands also seem to be the correct length and type if this ...

despite what we regularly see on fleabay, i dont think the 6xx calibres were ever used as military watches Art, however, there are a lot of these dials around. most are refinished in this style because sellers think thats what we want, but i just dont bel...

..the markings and the brand seemed to be printed (thin), not inked as in most re-done ones, so i guess i'll settle this one as a genuine, plus the type of hands seemingly supportive to that objective. In fact, everything that it is seems so right in plac...
