It is uncannily similar yes. I pulled back from the tantalum-titanium-gold version twice because the bezel construction seemed fishy. I still like it, but from afar. This is nice, I would buy it instantly if the case were also titanium, but they opted for steel for the case.

300M chrono too had a red/black edition back in 2013. ...
