Well, IMO 233 is the best out of the 3..

I've never actually tried 312 on my wrist.. But on some of my friend's it looks great... Good thing about it is that it has a date without cyclops on the crystal...
Cyclops didn't bother me before.. But lately it's really bothering me because it ruined the purity of the design...

And the 233 to me is the Panerai to have if you're only going to own one Panerai.. It's the best of both world, it has the beauty of vintage panerai with 1950 case and domed crystal and it also has date and GMT function, as well as the 8 days power reserve (very practical and strongly linked a strong history with the vintage panerais)

So I really hope you get what is best for you...

Best regards,

Sam

104, 233, 312?

So I've knocked off the 90 from my search and add the 233 and 312. my concern with the 312 is the thickness of the case but I do like the 3 day power reserve compared to the 40 hour on the 104. thoughts on those 2 watches as well as the more expensive 233...

Well Im biased but for me...

...233 is one of the best Panerai pieces in the current line up. The domed crystal + the 1950 case design makes it really sexy my friend! The 8 Days PR movement is also a good link with the "old days". Great complicated watch ( GMT, Zero reset, Long PR, e...

Another vote for Pam 233 ...

You need to go for the one that you like not let us bully you into liking the gorgeous 233. Bill...

it comes down to style and budget!

don't think thickness, weight or even functions should matter among your choices, it comes down to style and budget! If budget allows, 233 all the way, i consider it the most worthy modern pam (in terms of money for value, style and functions) . I'll leav...

style and budget...

I'm just not sure i want to spend that much on the 233 for now so that is why i was looking at the 312 and the 104....of those two, is there a reason to choose one over the other?

Seems like you've made your mind for the PAM312

And then between the PAM312 or PAM104, I'd definitely get the PAM312 because I think the 312 is more "pretty", has an in-house movement, and has the more sexy Luminor 1950 case. Cheers, Anthony

Had 233 and can still go back to enjoy a 351, but not for 104

I've had both 217 and 233 and I can still go back to enjoy 351 (a 312 in Titanium) but I can never go back to a 104! Pls refer to my Panerai journey here panerai.watchprosite.com

another vote for the PAM 233

8 day power reserve, great dial layout (I prefer the original dot am/pm indicator), 1950 case, and dome crystal makes for one of the best looking watches in Panerai's collection. Regards, ED-209...
