Well for me it had to be the 309

for the very simple reason that it has a black dial.

You see, for me personally i REALLY HATE the colour brown ( which is why you see my reluctance to have any brown straps even though most Paneristis love to pair their watch with a brown strap, especially those vintage ones, because it makes it look like the original vintage pieces), so when both pieces were announced last year and i made the decision to get one, the 309 stood out as the straight answer.

Now i know alot Paneristis love to own those things which mimics the vintage pieces the most, and thus would probably pick the 322 because it's got a brown dial, but correct me if i'm wrong, even with the original Marina Militare issue watches, weren't the dials actually black? That only through exposure to the sun and the other activities that the combat divers did, and with the passing of time did these dials slowly turn into brown?

So, if using the same theory, if you buy a black dial Pam now, actually through time it will slowly turn to brown! Although because of the difference of dial and luminous material between then and now it might not, which is good ( for me)! Like i said i really hate brown, so i'd prefer mine NOT to change colour even with the passing of time!

This is my stance on this Alepos, that's why i'm really really glad OP decided to re-issue the Egiziano with a black dial instead of a brown one!
