26 made of steel, PVD coating, not-so-interesting movement but sandwich dial. Essentially a tribute to the past.
317 made of ceramic case, in house 8 day power reserve single pusher chronograph at more than twice the list price Basically the showcase of all the latest technologies from Panerai.
I would be really surprised if a buyer is torn between the two as they're just so different...

In the end you really can't go wrong
If you're budget is tight and you're pushing it in getting the PAM317, then opt for the PAM26. That would be my deciding factor if I had to choose between the 2. If my budget can easily support the PAM317, I'd get that hands down. Otherwise, PAM26 would b...
