Two completely different pieces..
The PAM 359 with the polished 1950 case has been a winner for Panerai this year. Something about the numbered and vintage lume dial that draws alot of attention! It is an automatic as well with the entry level P9000 inhouse movement.
The PAM 323 is a Radiomir case and will wear differently. Its got a 10Day Auto inhouse movement P2003 which is one of the Panerai premium movements. The cirucular power reserve indicator is new for Panerai this year.
The difference comes down to which case you would like.
Most start with a Luminor/1950 case as their Panerai and then plunge deeper!

then I think you just answered your question. The 359 is a great piece and I think there will be 3,000 pcs made for this model year. It should not be that hard to get. I'm not sure how many pieces will be made of the 323, but I would think it will be less...
