Panerai PAM 36 and PAM 40.
In the Vendome years, my favorite duo was the PAM 36 Marina Militare and the mysterious PAM 40. Knowing which one came first is a bit like trying to know which one, from the egg or the chicken, came first. The PAM 40, it seems, was made to test the waters...
If only they had come up with the idea....
of making BOTH of them MMs (587-673 like) the 40 would have had its "day in the sun" as well.
Splitting hairs to decide, but I would opt for the 40.
Love the black dial in titanium! Such a blast to look back on the glory years of this brand. I miss them.
