The shoe box....of the 5218-201A Logo

in 1993 when Panerai started producing commercial watches, they chose to put them inside a shoe box...

In which you'd find the wooden box (with magnetic clasp) with the oval Panerai plaque and, on the side the serial number of the watch. Inside the wooden box, you'd find 2 straps: 1 Olive sharkskin and the 2nd in brown calf, that underwent waterproofing treatment (also known as Kodiak). Both straps had sewn in buckles and only one loop. You'd also find spare metal tubes and screw and the screwdriver needed for straps changes. The libretto (warranty) was also included in the...shoe box. smile Cheers.......

Oops I almost forgot, they also put the...watch...in smile

For my Logo I use a Panerai custom made Assolutamente, with the swen in Pre-V buckle.
Ciao

It's just too bad those numerals changed color after all that time ;-)

To quote a wise man....

since the Pre-V models have 4 of them to fix the strap with. Each one is extremely small and if you drop it, you're in trouble LOLLL
