The real essence of Panerai is pretty simple....

big sized, manual wound, essential tools. No bells&whistles, no cosy embellishments: less is more or, as I define them...arrogantly simple. If Frank Lloyd Wright had designed and built a watch, I like to think it would have been a Panerai 
When you go...commercial...it becomes a "free for all", which necessarily pulls the brand in all sorts of directions. It's up to the individual to decide how far he's willing to go. Some boundaries are more flexible than others...LOLLLL Not only I agree with you wholeheartedly about the 30ATM Panerai but also have to live with the need to "fatten up" the balance sheet, in a world that has precious little interest for a PANERAI and chases, in ecstasy, after whatches PRODUCED by Panerai and cannot be told apart from other brands...10 feet away If I had the "right way" for the future, the present MD of Panerai, would be...unemployed hahahahahahahaha
