Those who do not appreciate or understand watches can not justify spending $5k or $20k for a watch, let alone spending more than a couple hundred dollars. If you can appreciate an in-house movement with more complications, then you should be able to "justify" upgrading to the PAM233.
If the PAM90 serves you fine right now, then do you need to trade it in for a PAM233? If you want to get more pleasure out of the watch on your wrist, then maybe you should consider getting the PAM233.
My main criteria is if you strap the watch on your wrist, does it make your eye twinkle and make you giggle like a little kid eatting an ice cream cone?
If yes, then get the PAM233 only if the added cash outlay is not an issue.
Cheers,
Anthony
