Thanks! Is the 399 case the same as a 372 case except the crown is different? I hope panerai will update the production numbers on the 449.

it is imho the best panerai case as it blends the masculinity and modernity of the 1950 case with the elegance of the radiomir case. i always loved the radiomir case and crown except the lugs so this 1940 is perfect for me.

Surely the 399 is an exceptional new model. The limited run will leave most disappointed, but I fully expect another version will follow in a year or two with the 3 day movement. The 449 is quite attractive as well.

I like the non-glossy ceramic bracelet, but the text on the dial irritates me. It's a black case, do they need to remind me it's ceramic? a

And the new all ceramic on bracelet is a terrific addition to their lineup.

The 438 Ceramica looks the best out the the 2012 collection. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Seem like Panerai really knows how to optimize the Cali dial with another 500 limited pieces.....sigh.
