I kind of knew it too, I just figured it wouldn't be until sometime in the future. Then I saw it again in the metal and just couldn't resist. I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised at how much wrist time it has been getting. While it is small by Panerai standards, compared to my usual frequent wear watches (Patek 5711, Audemars 15202, JLC Reverso 1931) it is a big-a** watch. Yet I'm still really loving it. In fact, I just happen to be wearing it as I type this : )

and nice to see their effort in trying to slim down the 312 case.. the Alarm Clock was a nice classic..I know someone who actually put that on a strap and wear it.. I am sure a WTB on a Rsiti site will get some attention..good luck!

Lug to lug height?

Unfortunately I don't know the lug to lug height. The strap on my 338 is a custom one I had made from vintage leather. It ended up a little thinner than I would have preferred, but it still works ok.
Update
I found where I put my micrometer. The height from lug tip to lug tip is 51.1mm.
