Thanks again for your help...

...it has been very useful.  I will bring mine again as I am loosing 10 minutes per week and it just came in from repair for the 6th time...

Just so I know - if you wear the watch for 2 weeks how many times do you have to wind it manually?

If you try to move the automatic rotor how many revolutions do you get - one or two?

Thanks - I am just trying to see how far from normal my watch is?

Sincerely

HW

i've got the PAM 98 and I believe has the same movement but just different dial. It's also 42mm. I really love the watch especially when I go on holiday. The 2nd time zone and alarm function are really useful. I had not experience the problem you mentione...

i love the 98...

i am doing some testing and am now realizing - as you say - that the alarm is being wound by the automatic rotor, which is news to me. that's great to hear as i always thought i had to manually wind the alarm... now if it only worked? i assume the small a...

I prefer your dial too

The rotor on my PAM 98 doesn't spin freely. Most rotors that spins freely are uni-directional wound movements. ie: it spins freely in the opposite direction to direction which winds the watch. Because this movement winds in both directions. One direction ...

Her I go ! Your course of action is against the retailer that you bought it from. NOT Panerai direct. The retailer should the one sending it back and negotiating. A lot depends on how long ago since you bought it. If you have had it some time (e.g more th...

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I spoke to Panerai yesterday and they said they are going to replace the movement, which means it will have a new serial number. I had hoped they would replace this watch, but it was a special collection of only 300 and su...
