It was the first watch that really grabbed my attention and got me interested in watches. As my interest in watches evolved and I became more educated, I now know this isn't one of the most sought after or loved Panerai references, but there is a sentimental value and will always be in my collection.

One of the first watches I ever purchased nearly 20 years ago. It doesn't get a lot of wrist time, but still looks great. PAM164 ...

Judging by the photo it looks impeccable and she definitely deserves more wrist time. Some watches, not many, have this certain “everlasting” design that makes it wearable for many many decades without looking out of date or old fashioned. Like a Rolex Da...

that would match the "status" of a Datejust or a Speedmaster, looks altogether different. After all, the quintessence of a Panerai is represented by the..less is MORE concept. Have a look at a 232 or a 372 and you'll get the jist

My words may have been bit too optimistic. Didn’t meant that it’s right up there with them. But more that thuis Panerai is recognizable to many as being Panerai.
