Agree w/ all those in the thread. I put my name on the boutique list the moment it was announced ago and I expect to wait at least another year for delivery. I've heard 3 have been delivered in HK but delivery of additional units is a bit unpredictable. While not a limited edition... it certainly is a limited production. The wait list is extremely long so I don't expect that it will be 'easy' to get anytime soon. Having said that; it does seem the 292 delivery time have become much more regular so here's hoping. No doubt you'll see the flippers putting the 317 up for grabs at a significant premium in the coming months. Good luck.

It's not supposed to be a limited edition watch so I would suggest that you order it and then plan to waite. I ordered mine in October of 2008 and still don't have it. I am told that the first one won't arrive before 2010. I have not heard of anyone recev...

I had saw it last week and it is a beautiful watch. you should go to the Panerai in Beverly Hill and put your name down and wait may be in 6-8 mouth time you will get the lucky call.
