Not sure about the thickness of the 312 vs. the 104...
...but for me there's no contest. The 312 wins in so many ways -- the date window is much nicer without the cyclops, the brushed 1950s case adds a wonderful tactile dimension, the new in-house movement is lovely with its tool watch aesthetic and IMO the dial is more pleasingly proportioned. Just my two cents. Hopefully, one of our die-hard Panerai lovers on the forum can share more insight on dimensions and comfort on the wrist of both watches being considered.

how thick are 104 vs 312?
looking at getting one of these watches and the 312 seemed heavy and thick but they didnt have a 104 to compare....anyone know the size, thickness and weight difference in these two watches? any thoughts on the two of them as i like them both....thanks

Both the PAM312 and PAM104 are 44mm Luminors
but they are slightly different in that the PAM312 is housed in Luminor 1950 case while the PAM104 in a regular Luminor case. I don't know the thickness (Panerai website may have this info though) but the PAM312 will probably look thicker on the wrist bec...
