I fully wind my 113 every morning (and sometimes during the day, too). Are there any advantages (or disadvantages) to allowing a mechanical-wind PAM to wind down completely? D-Rock

More regularity if you wind it each day at approximatively the same hour.. But there is no problem if you let your pam wind down completley. It won't break for that. Best. Nicolas

it would actually shorten the service interval. For example, 42hr power reserve but you wind it to the fullest everyday on the dot at 9am. In theory if the main spring/barrel are being wound up every time roughly 24hrs later, then there can be memory effe...
