then I'd definitely opt of the Panerai PAM512 Radiomir 1940. 

Below is a PAM512 picture that Alec posted a while back.


It has the lovely large Rolex crown which I feel is one of the best traits of the Radiomir 1940 case.  The PAM512 is an elegant Panerai which can be dressed up and down depending on which strap you put on.

two completely different pieces...two different feels and they both fit different needs in my collection... Rolex carry with it some of the "baggage" but a Sub is the ultimate diver..Panerai is just a bit (still) different and bold...I tend to lean Radior...
