If you love simple dial I would recommend the PAM514, a very nice everyday piece with a mesmerising sandwich dial. It is 47 mm so it is definitely big but I have to admit that it fits pretty well in everyday life also under the shirt.

Whereas of you want something very historical I would suggest a true classic: the California, also 47 mm. Best

232, 249, 448, 449 all of which are 47mm Radiomirs, my choice would lean towards the PAM210. It has few advantages over the bigger models. It's a 45mm (no monster to be strapped to the wrist unless YOU choose it). It has a quintessential 3-6-9-12 Panerai ...
