Officine Panerai

I would like to ask some advice. I do not own a Panerai and would like to add one to my current collection of other brands. At this stage, I would really appreciate if Panerai enthusiasts would PM me with suggestions of reputable dealers. I am looking for... 

Panerai is a Labyrinth, and you will need time before finding your way. Ideally, avoid the Vintage, as many of those which are on the market are fake. Go for the Pre Vendome, or for the early Vendome, like the A, B, or C. Will show you some, very soon. Be... 

it will not be Vintage nor pre-V. The statement to avoid vintage is strange. There are most likely more fake modern Panerai than Vintage, and surely many fake pre-V's out there. Like with any purchase of pre-owned watches, one must exercise proper due dil... 

That if you buy a fake Vintage Panerai, the desillusion will be very cruel, as the asking price is generally very high. Therefore, it is very difficult to make the difference between a Fake Vintage and a correct one. It is easier to check the authenticity... 

easier to spot a vintage fake than a pre-V fake. At least, in vintage there are a few points (obviously I will not state them here ;-) ) that make it extremely difficult to manipulate. In pre-V, all the parts exist and sometimes its just a matter of simpl... 

if you want to buy only 1 Panerai, buy either a 40 or a 42mm model. If you buy 44/47, the other watches in your collection are doomed (unless you have the right sized Rolexes or IWCs)........ Cheers
